Kedarnath Dham of Lord Shiva is located in Rudraprayag in Uttarakhand, Badrinath of Lord Vishnu in Chamoli, Gangotri Dham of Mata Ganges on Uttarkashi and Yamunotri Dham of Mata Yamuna in Uttarkashi district.
It is said that in the 8th-9th

As mentioned in Skanda Purana, Garhwal was used to recognize as Kedarkhand in past, where we can find the explanation of Kedarnath Dham. Kedarnath is mentioned in the Hindus epic sculpture Mahabharata also. It is said that after the end of Mahabharata war, Pandavas came here to worship Lord Shiva for salvation and wash away the sin of killing own tribe brothers. It is believed that the Kedarnath temple was built by Adi Guru Shankaracharya. The description of the Badrinath temple is found in Skanda Purana and Vishnu Purana which was also discovered by Adi Guru Shankaracharya.
The Nepalese Gorkha Fighters

Temple was built at the same time by the General of Gorkha, Amar Singh Thapa.
The true temple of Yamunotri was built in the 19th century by Maharani Gularia of
Jaipur. Although it is also said that Yamunotri was built by Maharaja Pratap
Shah of Tehri.

The cupboard of Yamunotri temple will also open on this day, but its auspicious time will be taken out on the day of Ramnavmi. A meeting of the temple committee was held at Gangotri Mandir Dharamsala, District Headquarters on the first day of Chaitra Shukla Pratipada Navaratri. According to the legislation, according to the Vedic Panchang, the Mugharut of the Gangotri temple was taken out on this occasion.
Temple Committee Chairman Suresh Semwal and Secretary Deepak Seamwal said that this time, on May 7, at the holy festival of Akshaya Tritiya, the Cancer will be opened on May 7 at the auspicious time of Amritha Bela in Nirakshatra of Rohini Nakshatra at 11.30 pm on the occasion of the valor of Gangotri temple.

Delay in the reconstruction work of the disaster affected Yamunotri Dham, there is anger in the Tirtha Purohit society. Due to the erosion caused by the river Yamuna, more than 50 people have not been able to stand in the temple premises.
In such a situation, the pilgrims
have shown their inability to perform darshan and worship in the temple after
seeing the danger of not having completed the bridge and other security work
connecting the temple to the Dham before the Char Dham Yatra.
In July last year, a huge
catastrophe hit Yamunotri Dham in the Yamuna river. Due to the disaster due to
the main bridges connecting the temple many dams, such as the Bath Ghat, the
hot tub, the office of the society, were destroyed, for which the priestly
society has long been demanding to rebuild.
Jagmohan Singh Uniyal, Vice
President of Yamunotri Temple Committee, Secretary, Krishteeshwar Uniyal,
spokesman, Bageshwar Uniyal said that Lonivi started constructing a bridge in
Dham just a few days ago. So far the irrigation department has not started
construction works like ghats and security wall etc.
The late work is not expected to
be completed before the opening of the cupboard. In view of the danger
situation here, the committee has decided to open the gate of the temple only
for the morning prayer and worship of the morning and evening after the opening
of the kapat. The remaining doors of the temple will remain closed.
A budget of 1.54 crore has been
approved for the protection work in Yamunotri Dham. The tender process of these
works has been completed. Due to heavy snow accumulation in Dham, the work has
not started yet. Efforts will be made to complete the work as soon as the ice
melts, before opening the cupat.
